MECHANICAL ENGINEER
The best engineering disappears — what’s left is just the experience.
I am a mechanical engineer based in Los Angeles with a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado School of Mines. I believe the most compelling problems are the ones where '“does it work?” is only half of the question.
This idea drew me to themed entertainment and the challenge of designing solutions to the questions that haven’t been asked yet. My work spans mechanical design, robotics, CAD modeling, electronics integration, hands-on prototyping, and rapid iteration.
Projects
Bass Guitar Adaptation
Led the lever subsystem design enabling individuals with limited hand dexterity and strength to play bass. Managed full CAD assembly and produced the complete instruction manual.
SolidWorks Mechanical Design Manufacturing
3D printing GD&T
Pneumatic Injection Molder
Designed and built a fully functional pneumatic injection molder capable of producing small molded plastic parts from scratch. Designed PID system to control heating tube and display when ready to melt plastic.
Electronic Systems SolidWorks Manufacturing
Pneumatic Systems PID Control
Face Tracking Alarm System
Built a motorized face-tracking turret using an ESP32-CAM with real time facial recognition to make shoot/no-shoot decisions.
ESP32 Robotics Facial Recognition
Embedded Systems
Freelance CAD & Lighting
Translated a SketchUp cabinet handle design into SolidWorks for CNC production. Separately developed a sensor-driven reactive LED proof of concept for a wearable system.
SolidWorks Electronics LED Systems
CNC Arduino
Aurebesh Translator (WIP)
Designed a handheld Aurebesh-to-English input device with custom keycaps and a button matrix. Enclosure currently in progress.
